The Metropolitan New York College Career Planning Officer's Association (MNYCCPOA) is a dynamic professional organization of career service counselors from the New York Metropolitan area. The MNYCCPOA Board of Directors donated their expanding archive to Special Collections in Spring, 2011.
Abstract:
The Archives of The Metropolitan New York College Career Planning Officer's Association (MNYCCPOA) contain the organization's historical and business records dating from 1960 to present. The MNYCCPOA Board of Directors donated their expanding archive to Special Collections in order to address their long term preservation needs and interest in global access of their archives for research purposes. Scope and Content:
All of the items in the archives are original and range from MNYCCPOA's incorporation in 1960 to the present. They are divided into the following series:

Jane Johnson, Treasurer, noted that she was applying for a tax exempt status for the Association. The idea of honorary memberships was brought up and a committee would be appointed to look into it.
