Circulation and Reserve: Holds and Requests

If LIUCat indicates that a book that you want has been checked out, you may request that it be held for you at the Circulation desk when it is returned. Click on the "Request" link, and it will ask you for your LIU username and password.

If LIUCat indicates that a book that you want is owned by another LIU campus library, you can request that it be sent here. Click on the "Request" link, and it will ask you for your LIU username and password.

Please note that requests for items located at this campus with an "Available" status will not be processed.

To request a periodical article or a chapter of a book that is not owned by LIU, eligible borrowers may request an interlibrary loan by emailing post-interlibraryloan@liu.edu.  Due to the pandemic, the Library regrets that it is unable to borrow entire books through interlibrary loan.
