Mission
For a company's mission statement, visit their webpages. Mission statements are typically found under the About Us, Our Company or Investor Relations links which are often located at the bottom of a company's homepage.
An alternative way to sometimes locate a company's mission statement, and/or identify it's goals and values, is through their 10-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). 10-K filings may be found in the following databases:
- Hoover's This link opens in a new windowPerform a Company Search. Select "Financials" drop-down menu from the Company Index. Select "SEC Filings." Use "Refine By Form Type," "Annual Reports - 10K" to narrow results to 10Ks.
- Mergent Online This link opens in a new windowPerform Company Search. Choose "Filings" tab. On left-side of page, "Click here for Edgar Search" to search the Last 12 Months" for "Filing Type" "10-K" for a given company.
