Religious Life
The Office of Religious Life celebrates the diversity of religious experience and faith traditions represented in the C.W. Post community. Visitors are always welcome for silent meditation, worship services, lectures and other activities. If your faith tradition is not represented, the Office of Religious Life will assist you in finding your tradition locally.
International Student Services (ISS)
- International Student Services (ISS)ISS offers programs & services to all incoming & currently enrolled international students. ISS staff is here to make sure you are comfortable & enriched, both socially & academically, at your new home-away-from-home. The ISS Office provides guidance for academic success, assists students in maintaining their legal F-1 non-immigrant status in the United States & offers social, cultural & educational programs to promote integration into the C.W. Post community.
International Student Orientation
- International Student OrientationOrientation sessions cover immigration rules & benefits, health & medical insurance issues, & special services such as student activities, dining, & entertainment. This is a great time to explore the Campus grounds, socialize with other new students, & meet faculty & staff. The orientation is held a few days before the start of classes.
English Language Institute
- English Language InstituteThe English Language Institute (ELI) at the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University offers a special program for international students who want to improve their English skills & experience life at a prestigious American university. The ELI program provides English as a Second Language courses to non-English speakers who are seeking admission to C.W. Post to pursue a bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree.

Writing Center
The Writing Center is staffed by trained undergraduate and graduate students who work collaboratively with C.W. Post students on a one-to-one basis to help them develop the strongest texts possible. Students come to the Writing Center because all writers can improve their writing through feedback. The Writing Center can help you to brainstorm, plan, edit, revise and proofread your texts.
