SciMed databases
To find articles on a topic in nutrition use the Library's online databases. The best one to use is:
- MEDLINE (EbscoHost)MEDLINE is the premier database in medicine. It provides comprehensive information on biochemistry, physiology, nutrition and much more. The EbscoHost version of Medline is easy to use and provides many full text articles and links.
Other useful databases include:
- MEDLINE (PubMed)A free version of the MEDLINE database, MEDLINE (PubMed) is open to everybody, no LIU id or password required.
- CINAHLCINAHL is the major database for nursing articles. It also provides coverage of many allied health journals.
