Brain POP is used in numerous ways in classrooms, at home, and on mobile devices, from introducing a new lesson or topic to illustrating complex subject matter. Content is mapped to Common Core, and aligned to academic standards. This software is uniquely suited for 21st century leaning, and is compatible with interactive whiteboards, Macs, and PCs. Rosen Digital publishes award-winning K-12 nonfiction; eBooks and Interactive eBooks powered by the new epointplus enhanced reading experience; apps, games, and interactive databases. All are tablet, smartphone, and Chromebook compatible and are aligned to state, national, provincial, STEM, and Common Core standards. Individual accounts allow for users to save their work with notebook features such as making freehand drawings, creating reminders, taking notes, and highlighting text passages.

EBSCO eBook K-8 Collection contains nearly 11,000 titles chosen to support a quality learning experience for K-8 students across all subject areas taught in elementary and middle schools, and content aligns with Common Core Curriculum Standards (for participating U.S. states). The collection also features a selection of teacher resources to support educators and administrators.


In an effort to provide faculty and students with as many options to view educational videos as part of their course content, the Instructional Media Center (IMC) has recently subscribed to Films on Demand (FOD), a streaming video collection of over 20,000 high-quality educational videos covering a wide range of topics organized into broad     subjects. The LIU Post Library also offers students and faculty access to Kanopy another on-demand  streaming video  service that provides students and faculty access to important film content, covering a wide range of academic subjects.     Videostreaming:
